Lumen is a weekly planner. You put tasks on days, not in an endless list. Each week starts on the day you choose, and anything you did not finish moves to the next week on Sunday night, unless you tell it not to.
Garden: order seeds. The week view groups by that word.Type a task and add every monday, every weekday or every 2 weeks at the end. Lumen understands those three forms only. Editing one occurrence changes only that one; editing from the task's menu changes the series.
iPhone, Android and the web app sync through your Lumen account. There is no desktop app; the web app at the same address works on a laptop.
Yes on the phone apps. Changes you make offline are kept on the device and sent when you are back online. The web app needs a connection to load, then keeps working for the current week if the connection drops.
They are not gone. Sign in with the same email on the new phone and the weeks come back. If you used the app without an account on the old phone, the tasks lived only there: open the old phone, go to Settings, Create account, and the tasks are uploaded.
Every change syncs immediately when online. If two devices edit the same task within a few seconds, the last edit wins; nothing is merged.
| Plan | Price | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Unlimited tasks, one device signed in at a time, no sharing |
| Plus | $4 a month or $36 a year | All devices, sharing, two-year history |
Settings, Plan, Cancel. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for, then the account goes back to Free with all tasks intact. Shared weeks stop being shared at that point.
Every payment emails a receipt. For a PDF invoice with a company name, open Settings, Plan, Invoices, and add the details once; past invoices are regenerated.
Yearly plans can be refunded within 14 days of payment, from Settings, Plan, Request refund. Monthly plans are not refunded; cancel instead and the month runs out.
Usually a recurring task edited on two devices while one was offline. Delete one copy; the series is unaffected.
On iPhone: Settings, Notifications, Lumen, Allow. On Android, also check that battery optimisation is off for Lumen. Then open Lumen, Settings, Reminders, and send a test reminder.
They moved to the new week, at the top, marked with an arrow. If you turned off "Carry over unfinished tasks" in Settings, they stay in the old week; swipe left to see it.
Lumen keeps two years of history on the device on Plus. Settings, Storage, Keep only this year, frees most of it. History stays in your account.
